Bought as a birthday gift for my son. He was fed up having to plug his iPhone into the car's USB socket every time so we purchased the Pairr adapter. Paired with his phone after the 2nd attempt and he is over the moon with it. All the same user experiences as before but with his phone still in his pocket. Also a good way of reminding him if he forgets his phone.

Solid addition to any car that doesn't have standard wireless CarPlay
If you have a car that's new enough to have CarPlay equipped with its infotainment system and it isn't wireless by default (surprisingly a ton of them), then this thing is a no-brainer.
Compared to the dongle I had initially for getting wireless CarPlay in my 2021 RAV4 (that dongle being the Carlinkit), this one is leaps and bounds above that other dongle. With the other dongle, it would take about twice the time, and sometimes, it would even hang when trying to find my phone to make the wireless CarPlay connection. No such thing has happened with this one though!
Overall, I feel like you can't go wrong with this! If you're like me and have a car that still in this day and age only has wired CarPlay, get this, as wireless is the way CarPlay should be!

I now have the PAIRR Wireless Carplay Adapter in my Maverick XLT and find it very satisfactory. I had tried two other brands and they both failed to connect. The PAIRR connected flawlessly and works fine. I've got my Pairr device connected to a short cable (USB-C) and fastened to the underside of the dash above the console tray with a 3-M Command strip. Overall, I'm very happy with the PAIRR device and find it worth the cost. I also use a Cheotech wireless charger in my console tray connected to the USB-A and it works great with my iPhone XS. So, toss the phone on the charger and go. Just what I wanted.

Purchased online the item arrived quickly (4 days) I am in Australia. I have a 2019 Toyota Corolla ZR. It was as easy to install and worked immediately when connected. Auto-connect works quickly when starting the vehicle.

Will this work in my car?
If your vehicle has a factory-installed wired CarPlay unit - Yes! This also applies for vehicles that have wired and wireless CarPlay connections. Vehicles with only wireless CarPlay connection are not supported.
Do I have to sync the adapter every time I use it?
Nope! After you set it up, your phone will pair with it as soon as you start the car, every time.
Does it use WiFi or Bluetooth? I don't have WiFi in my car?
Our adapter has WiFi and Bluetooth hardware. It connects with Bluetooth and sends the WiFi credentials to the phone, then disconnects from the Bluetooth network. It works solely on WiFi from that point on
Will it work with my iPhone?
Yes, it works every iPhone from the 6 (running iOS 10) all the way up to the 15 Pro Max.
If I have two phones, which will it choose?
You can use either phone, but if you have both in the car, it will connect to the last paired phone.
Does it come with instructions?
As a plug-and-play solution, the Pairr is very easy to install.
- Turn on the Bluetooth and WiFi networks on your phone.
- Make sure your phone is not connected to any other WiFi or Bluetooth networks and remove the hands-free connection from your phone and car system settings.
- Plug the adapter into the CarPlay USB port.
- Wait for the interface to appear on the screen.
- Go to your phone's bluetooth devices and find name starting with AUTO-xx, tap on it.
- Select "Pair" on your phone when the notification appears.
- Select Use CarPlay once the notification appears.
How do I update it?
- Connect your phone to the adapter and wait until CarPlay appears on the screen.
- Enter 192.168.1.101 in your browser and click “Go.”
- If you see an update available, click it.
- Wait until the update bar reaches 100%.
- When CarPlay reappears on the screen, you’re done!
How long does it take for the Pairr unit connect?
It depends on your phone and car, but it usually takes 7-14 seconds.
How long will it take for my items to arrive?
It will usually take 5-10 business days for all orders to arrive. Shipping times vary based on customer location, season and shipping location.
Will I receive a confirmation number when I place my order?
