Multiple phones can be paired, but only one connects at a time.It defaults to the last device used, and you’ll have a few seconds after starting the car to select from the pairing list—just long-press the MINI. To switch phones, unplug and replug the MINI or turn off Bluetooth & Wi-Fi on the connected phone.
This usually happens if your phone is connected to home/office Wi-Fi. Fix it by:
Settings → General → CarPlay → Forget 'CAR2-XXXX' → Turn off Bluetooth & Wi-Fi → Turn them back on. Wait for 'CAR2-XXXX' to pop up and reconnect. Make sure your phone isn’t on another Wi-Fi.
Power on: Red light (steady)
Car connected: Blue light (blinking)
Phone connected: Blue light (steady)
Reset done: White light (blinks until button released)
